A suspected shoplifter allegedly punched a police officer in the nose last night (Monday) outside a fast food restaurant near 27th and Superior. When LPD Officer Charity Hamm tried arresting 22 year old Jason Falkenhagen for taking trading cards from Wal-Mart, he allegedly punched her in the nose. Falkenhagen went to jail. Officer Hamm went to the hospital as a precaution.
